DREAM IT

Each class time begins with sensory play through a themed sensory table or themed sensory activity. We believe that children learn as they play and utilize several senses at one time. Our sensory bins, homemade play-dough and sensory fizz are scented with essential oils and contain natural ingredients. During our sensory activities, we invite your child to engage in connected play which leads to independent learning.

BUILD IT

We introduce letters and sounds, then build words. Our approach incorporates Montessori principles of “hands on” learning along with traditional Spalding phonograms. We begin by introducing vowels, then move on to consonants and consonant-vowel-consonant words. Next, we introduce a few select multi-letter phonograms. Learning should be fun and engaging, creating curiosity and successful problem solving.

GROW IT

Growing children and growing plants each need proper nourishment and mentoring. Our preschool program incorporates teachings from the bible to help cultivate a deeper relationship and understanding of Christian values alongside activities such as gardening and science experiments. Littles Reading curriculum is carefully designed, pulling topics and themes from the Arizona State Standards while incorporating great literature, poetry, Spalding phonics, math, art, and music.
